Israeli Army Kills Palestinian as Ceasefire Violations continue
Medical sources said the body of an 18-year-old man was taken to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City after he was shot by Israeli forces in Beit Lahia. They added that another Palestinian was wounded in the same area.
Witnesses reported that the incidents occurred in zones outside areas where Israeli forces are currently deployed in northern Gaza.
Local sources also said Israeli troops carried out demolitions of buildings and infrastructure in areas under their control east of Gaza City, alongside artillery fire and gunfire in surrounding locations.
In addition, Israeli artillery reportedly shelled eastern parts of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, 817 Palestinians have been killed and 2,296 injured in Israeli attacks since the ceasefire came into effect on October 10, 2025.
The ceasefire was intended to halt a two-year conflict that began in October 2023. Authorities in Gaza say the war has resulted in more than 72,000 deaths and over 172,000 injuries, as well as extensive destruction affecting around 90% of the territory’s civilian infrastructure.
